Treasuring Treasures

Passage: Matthew 6:19-21

Speaker: Brian Land

Series: Sermon on the Mount

Category: Grace Brevard

What we truly value reveals our true hearts and what we truly believe (not what we say we believe). In this passage Jesus addresses the Kingdoms in Conflict in our hearts and how we  perpetually choose sides, investing either in the Kingdom of the Earth, which is an investment in a failing market, or in the Kingdom of God, which will never end. Jesus, in the Kingdom of God, treasured us as his own by going to the cross, and subsequently offers us what the Earthly Kingdom never can and what we so desperately want: ultimate wholeness and satisfaction.
